States are being threatened with losing their federal funding over enforcing English language tests for truck drivers. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy announced the crackdown Tuesday. The move comes after an Indian immigrant truck driver was charged for killing three people in a Florida crash after making an illegal U-turn. Duffy targeted California, Washington state and New Mexico during his announcement. The driver had been granted commercial driver’s licenses in California and Washington state.
