Iran Launches Missiles At Tel Aviv

Missiles are being fired at Tel Aviv in what is likely Iran’s response to Israeli strikes. NBC’s Matt Bradley is hunkered down in a bomb shelter in the city. Iranian state media reports hundreds of missiles have been launched. Some missiles have reportedly made it through Israel’s Iron Dome defense system. Israeli Defense Forces say civilians are being targeted by Iran. This comes as President Trump met with the National Security Council earlier today after Israel launched strikes on Iran. Several high ranking Iranian military leaders were reportedly killed in the attacks. Yesterday, Trump told Fox News he was aware of Israel’s plans to strike before they happened and that the U.S. would help defend Israel “if needed.”
