Anti-ICE protests in the Bay Area continue. Protesters on Tuesday rallied against federal agents outside an immigration courthouse in Concord. ICE officers arrested and removed four immigrants just after their hearings in court Tuesday, which incensed demonstrators. ICE officials say they were pushed, punched and even slapped by protesters.
The gathering comes less than 24 hours after two officers were hurt and nearly 150 protesters were arrested after an anti-ICE protest in San Francisco turned violent Sunday night. Nearly all of those arrested were cited and released. Similar ICE protests also took place Monday in Oakland and San Jose.
